Knutsford Hosts have been particularly busy in the run up to Christmas 2014.

Between 16 November and 4 December they helped deliver 3,000 envelopes to homes in and around Knutsford to support the Knutsford Lions Christmas Appeal.

On Wednesday 19 November Hosts braved the elements to help with the annual bulb-planting on Longridge – postponed from an earlier date due to bad weather.

They helped children make lanterns at two workshops organised by Knutsford Town Council, as well as helping out on the afternoon of the Lantern Parade when the town twinkled.

On the same weekend (Friday 5 and Saturday 6 December) of the Lantern Parade, the Hosts helped with the annual Knutsford Lions Christmas Street Collection. Undaunted by the damp chilly weather, they happily held onto their buckets and hummed along to a selection of suitably festive music!

And finally, the Hosts put on their best party hats to help out at the Children’s Christmas Party on Wednesday 10 December at St John’s Community Centre, and at the Over 55s Christmas Party at the Falcon Bearer pub on Monday 15 December.

Have a very Merry Christmas and let’s look forward to a great New Year with the Knutsford Hosts in 2015.
