Hosts set to lend a helping hand to RHS Show

Hosts 3TWENTY Knutsford Hosts will be promoting the town at this years RHS show at Tatton Park.

Some 80,000 visitors are expected to visit this year’s show which features more than 500 exhibitors across three zones – Feast, Grow and Inspire.

And the Knutsford Hosts will be there to fly the flag for Knutsford by handing out town guides and encouraging people to visit Knutsford’s shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants. Continue reading

Popular town volunteer group celebrates its first birthday

Hosts badgeKNUTSFORD Hosts, the town-wide volunteering scheme is celebrating its first birthday today

Launched Sarah Flannery and backed by an Awards for All grant from The Big Lottery Fund, the Hosts’ six-month pilot scheme started with six partners and no Hosts.

One year on, the scheme has 20 partners, more than 40 Hosts and has established a real presence in Knutsford and beyond. Continue reading

Knutsford Hosts lend helping hand at RHS Tatton

Armed with copies of the new Town Guide and shopping map, the hosts were based in the Inspire Zone and were delighted with the positive reaction they received from visitors who travelled from all over the UK – and beyond. Continue reading
